Suva
Suva Can be grown in a variety of soils. However, Clay, sandy and loamy soils with a pH range of 5.5-6.7 are suitable. Also the Soil should be well trained and well aerated. The weather temperature 15-27 oC is most favorable.
Suva crop matures in about 90-150 days and yield 0.37 to 0.64 MT per acre in moderate climate and depending on the varieties.
Sowing time : September - Mid November
Ajwain
Ajwain Can be grown in a variety of soils. However, Clay, sandy and loamy soils with a pH range of 6.5 - 8.29 are suitable. Also the Soil should be well trained and well aerated. The weather temperature 15-27 oC is most favorable.
Ajwain crop matures in about 130-175 days and yield 0.32 to 0.60 MT per acre in moderate climate and depending on the varieties.
Sowing time : August - Mid November
Cumin Can be grown in a variety of soils. However, Clay, sandy and loamy soils with a pH range of 6.8-8.8 are suitable. Also the Soil should be well trained and well aerated. The weather temperature 15-28 oC is most favorable.
Cumin crop matures in about 90-120 days and yield 0.36 to 1.25 MT per acre in moderate climate and depending on the varieties.

Fennel
Cumin

Fennel crop matures in about 160-220 days and yield 0.72 to 1 MT per acre in moderate climate and depending on the varieties.

Red Dried Chilli
Red dried chilli Can be grown in a variety of soils. However, Clay, sandy and loamy soils with a pH range of 5.5-7.5 are suitable. Also the Soil should be well trained and well aerated. The weather temperature 16-33 oC is most favorable.
Red dried chilli crop matures in about 150-180 days and yield 0.75 to 1.2 MT per acre in moderate climate and depending on the varieties.
Sowing time : January - February, Mid May - July, September - November
Garlic
Garlic Can be grown in a variety of soils. However, Clay, sandy and loamy soils with a pH range of 6.0-8.4 are suitable. Also the Soil should be well trained and well aerated. The weather temperature 12.5-25.1 oC is most favorable.
Garlic crop matures in about 125-150 days and yield 2.80 to 8 MT per acre in moderate climate and depending on the varieties.
Sowing time : June - July, October - November
Coriander Can be grown in a variety of soils. However, Clay, sandy and loamy soils with a pH range of 6.0-8.0 are suitable. Also the Soil should be well trained and well aerated. The weather temperature 15-28 oC is most favorable.

Turmeric
Turmeric Can be grown in a variety of soils. However, Clay, sandy and loamy soils with a pH range of 4.5-7.5 are suitable. Also the Soil should be well trained and well aerated. The weather temperature 20-35 oC is most favorable.
Turmeric crop matures in approximately 215-270 days and and harvesting starts from 160-180 days after planting. (Depends on the varieties).
Turmeric is yield Fresh 8 to 12 MT and dried 3 to 4 MT per acre in moderate climate.
Sowing time : May-Mid July
Ginger
Ginger can be grown in wide variety soil, but the sandy loam, clay loam and loam are best suited for it with pH range of 5.5-6.5 Soil must be well drained and well aerated. The weather temperature 22-28 oC is most favorable.
The crop duration of Ginger is approximately 240-270 days and harvesting starts from 150-180 days after planting. (Depends on the varieties).
Ginger is yield 10 to 12 MT and dried 2.5 to 4 MT per acre in moderate climate
Sowing time : Mid February-March, May-June
Saffron Can be grown in a variety of soils. However, Clay, sandy and loamy soils with a pH range of 5.8-7.8 are suitable. Also the Soil should be well trained and well aerated. The weather temperature 6-27 oC is most favorable.
Saffron crop matures in about 90-120 days and yield 0.62 to 1.63 KG per acre in moderate climate and depending on the varieties.
Sowing time : June - September
Asafoetida
Saffron
Asafoetida Can be grown in a variety of soils. However, Clay, sandy and loamy soils with a pH range of 6.5-7.5 are suitable. Also the Soil should be well trained and well aerated. The weather temperature 0-25 oC is most favorable.
Asafoetida crop matures in about 5-6 year and estimated to yield about 200-500 gm of concentrated resin in moderate climate and depending on the varieties.
Sowing time February - March, Mid September - November
