Suva

  • Suva Can be grown in a variety of soils. However, Clay, sandy and loamy soils with a pH range of 5.5-6.7 are suitable. Also the Soil should be well trained and well aerated. The weather temperature 15-27 oC is most favorable.

  • Suva crop matures in about 90-150 days and yield 0.37 to 0.64 MT per acre in moderate climate and depending on the varieties.

Ajwain

  • Ajwain Can be grown in a variety of soils. However, Clay, sandy and loamy soils with a pH range of 6.5 - 8.29 are suitable. Also the Soil should be well trained and well aerated. The weather temperature 15-27 oC is most favorable.

Ginger

  • Ginger can be grown in wide variety soil, but the sandy loam, clay loam and loam are best suited for it with pH range of 5.5-6.5 Soil must be well drained and well aerated. The weather temperature 22-28 oC is most favorable.

  • The crop duration of Ginger is approximately 240-270 days and harvesting starts from 150-180 days after planting. (Depends on the varieties).
