Kulthi bean
Kulthi bean Can be grown in a variety of soils. However, Clay, sandy and loamy soils with a pH range of 6.0-8.0 are suitable. Also the Soil should be well trained and well aerated. The weather temperature 25-30 oC is most favorable.
Kulthi bean crop matures in about 95-115 days and yield 0.35 to 0.50 MT per acre in moderate climate and depending on the varieties.
Sowing time : June - Mid July
Urad bean
Urad bean Can be grown in a variety of soils. However, Clay, sandy and loamy soils with a pH range of 6.5-7.8 are suitable. Also the Soil should be well trained and well aerated. The weather temperature 25-38 oC is most favorable.
Urad bean crop matures in about 75-90 days and yield 0.40 to 0.55 MT per acre in moderate climate and depending on the varieties.
Sowing time : Mid June - Mid July, Mid February - Mid March

Rajma

Masoor Dal
