Castor Can be grown in a variety of soils. However, Clay, sandy and loamy soils with a pH range of 5.0-8.5 are suitable. Also the Soil should be well trained and well aerated. The weather temperature 20-31 oC is most favorable.
Castor crop matures in about 140-175 days and yield 0.75 to 1.60 MT per acre in moderate climate and depending on the varieties.
Sowing time : July - August

Sesame

Sesame Can be grown in a variety of soils. However, Clay, sandy and loamy soils with a pH range of 5.5-8.0 are suitable. Also the Soil should be well trained and well aerated. The weather temperature 25-30 oC is most favorable.
Sesame crop matures in about 90-120 days and yield 0.30 to 0.72 MT per acre in moderate climate and depending on the varieties.
Sowing time : June - Mid July, Mid August - Mid September, Mid February
